Like Piano Tiles or Don't Tap the White Tile, Don't Tap is a click-and-tap game. There are six ways to play the game: Classic, Arcade, Zen, Rush, Relay, and Arcade+. The home screen displays these settings on black and white tiles.

A screen that says "Congratulations" appears when the player does well in Don't Tap. The different piano music in each mode also makes it fun to play. This way, when the person plays a mode again, they can learn and enjoy new music.
