Unblock It 3D is a block puzzle game in which the player controls floating stacks of small and long blocks marked with arrows to move in various directions off the playfield. The game includes two enjoyable modes (Classic and Journey).

Classic allows the player to win coins by removing all blocks from fields across levels. If they choose to view an advertisement, they will receive more coins, depending on the lucky rainbow bar multiplier. To unlock the Journey mode, they must first pass Level 3. They use Journey to navigate a map that contains replicas of famous geographic destinations and landmarks. They navigate each level using map buttons. Their goal is to get up to three gold stars per level. When the player reaches a certain milestone, both Classic and Journey modes reward them with a present.
